Managing Bookings

Notifying for Late Drop Offs or Absences - Home App

The sign in dashboard will display any bookings for your children for the day. From here, you can notify the service of late drop offs or absences to bookings. If the booking is not appearing, pull down the top of the screen to refresh the page.

Sending Late or Absence Notices:

1. Click on the          icon on booking to view more details.

2. The details of the bookings will become available. This screen has two buttons, 'Late' or 'Absent'.

Select the relevant button to notify the parent of the status of the booking.

Notifying of Holidays or Absences

On the Home app, parents have full access to view your child's bookings at the centre. You can notify the service of an absence or holiday. 

To view the current bookings, head to the bookings tab and click on a given day to see bookings for that day.

To view all bookings, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. A list of all bookings will be available.

Tap on the '(+) New' button at the top right select 'absence or holiday'.

Select the start and end date over which the absence/holiday will apply. Comments added here will be viewable by the Centre administrators. Toggle between absence/holiday relevant to the request.


Click 'Request' to send the holiday.

The holiday/absence will be sent to the administrators and will need to be approved through their portal.

Creating Bookings

Mobile bookings allow parents to view the available bookings for a service on a given day on the Home app and instantly book a session.

Click on the bookings tab. Click on the relevant day on the calendar. If there are no existing sessions, 'No Bookings' will display at the bottom of the screen. A session will need to be booked for this day.

Adding Bookings:

To add a booking, click '(+) new'  in the top right hand corner and select 'Booking' in the pop up. Available sessions will be viewable for that day. Select the room and time you wish to book. 

Note: For multiple bookings, repeat the process above until all the sessions are selected. At this time, you can only add bookings but not delete them. You will have to contact the childcare centre to delete this for you if needed.

Once selected, click the pram icon in the top right hand corner to move to the summary screen. 

The summary screen will display the name of the child, the sessions being booked at their price, time and room. If these are incorrect, click the back arrow to correct selections. Once happy with the selections, click 'Request'.

If the sessions have been booked successfully, the next screen will show a 'confirmed' status for the booking.
